In the time of my short spring recess, I was able to go back to such a place, a place where I’m glad to call home. Medellín’s festivals and art exhibitionshave valuable works. The center of Medellin has the largest number of sculptures, together with the Avenida el Poblado and Parque de las Esculturas in Cerro Nutibara, in translation these are the parks sited for their Art work to be viewed publicly. The Art works of many prominent artists, both local and foreign, can be seen on the streets of the city, among many others, some artists that stand out are the masters Rodrigo Arenas Betancur and Fernando Botero.Another reason for Medellín’s popularity on Art is their well known museum. The Museo de Antioquia click hereis the most acknowledged museum and located downtown in front of Fernando Botero’s square.
The Arví Ecotourism Park, is supervisory position over Medellín and allows it to offer natural landscapes overlooking over the entire city. The park is one of the most visited sites, which has an area of about 20,000 hectares, covers virtually the entire territory of the village of Santa Elena, and also runs between the neighbor towns. In its trails, lakes, forests and streams, it can practice various sports and activities like kayaking, biking, camping, fishing, swimming, sailing rowing, horseback riding, bike tours and picnics. Here are a few personal photographs I took of these wonderful places and all it has to afford.
